| The present study is conducted between the Democratic Republic of Congo(DR Congo)and the People's Republic of China(PRC);it talks about the development of the tourist destination of Chinese to DR.Congo.Its aim was to stand out some strategies for the tourism sector to influence the development and promotion of a Congolese tourist destination.It analyzes several points,including the causes of underdevelopment of the Congolese tourist destination,the arrival of Chinese tourists in DR.Congo,the reason for their trip,the quality of tourist service in the Congo,obtaining visas,opinions of the Chinese on their visit to the Congo.The purpose of this analysis was to make an inventory of the Congolese tourist destination and highlight the causes that make its destination less developed,have knowledge of its strengths and weaknesses as well as the opportunities to be made for its improvement and its development.The report provided by the Congolese National Tourist Office for the year 2015 shows that the Chinese do indeed go to the Congo.The study also revealed that the Chinese go to the Congo but their associates there are more for reasons other than tourist reasons which is also too weak,because most do not leave for the tourists rather for other reasons.She later identified Congo's difficulties in developing its tourism industry,including insecurity in other sectors,political and economic instability,not good infrastructure,the lack of accessibility of certain tourist sites,less attractive destinations.To achieve our results,we used different methods,including the qualitative and quantitative method,followed by the documentary analysis that helped us to consult documents,newspapers,scientific works,books and internet access.These methods were accompanied by the technique of data collection by means of survey questionnaires.For the promotion of the Congolese tourist destination,the following strategic orientations have been proposed:Dispose of transport infrastructure,improve the quality of its service,and multiply both redevelopments of accommodation and restorations to meet satisfactorily the demand of visitors;Make a good marketing and advertising of its destination,for its visibility;Rend accessibility of non-frequent tourist destinations,to make it a new destination that can dream new tourists;Find international investors and make a partnership with tourism of the People's Republic of China(PRC)to promote our market;mark its presence on tourist circuits at the international levels while developing its offer,available the sale of its products online and restore the tourist attractions to conquer the Chinese clientele and the rest;The government should ensure and stabilize the policy as well as the economy for the flourishing of tourism in Congo.It must also facilitate investments of the private and foreign sector;allocate financial resources for the development of tourism;The Ministry of Tourism should work jointly with ONTC and stakeholders to put in place a national tourism policy. |
