The Comparative Analysis Of Rice Export Between China And Vietnam

Rice is one of the traditional export agricultural products of China and Vietnam.It has been playing an important role in the grain export of the two countries.China and Vietnam are close to the stages of geographical location,climate and economic development,so there is a great similarity between the two countries in the production and export of agricultural products.Therefore,the study on the share of China and Vietnam in the world rice market in recent years,the situation of rice trade,the competition and the relationship of mutual dependence have a positive impact on the planning of future development and the determination of the suitable foreign trade system,and also to enhance the close relationship between trade cooperation and trade exchanges between the two countries.This paper first explains the background and significance of the research,research methods and research innovation.Among them,the research methods used in this paper are literature review,comparative analysis and empirical analysis.Then the second chapter is a review of the relevant domestic and foreign literature related to China and Vietnam.This article describes the theory of comparative advantage,the theory of factor endowment and the theory of export competition.The third chapter of the paper analyzes the situation of the world rice trade,analyzes the main exports of rice in the world,China World Trade Center,the main imports of rice in the world and the structure of the world rice import and export.The fourth chapter of the paper makes a comparative analysis on the specific situation of rice trade in China,Vietnam and two countries,including rice production,rice import and export volume,rice export market,rice export price and quality of rice export.The fifth chapter analyzes the competitiveness of rice trade in China,Vietnam and two countries through the calculation of international market share,trade competitiveness index and dominant comparative advantage index,and draws a conclusion that China and Vietnam have no obvious comparative advantagescompared with Vietnam.In the last chapter,the sixth chapter analyzes the problems faced by the rice trade between China and Vietnam,according to the problems faced by Chinese rice and the competitiveness of rice trade from Vietnam,and puts forward some countermeasures to improve the competitiveness of rice trade between China and Vietnam,for example,to popularize rice knowledge,to raise the quality of farmers' life,to improve the quality of rice and to establish brand.
