With the rapid development of China's economy,the tourism activities become more and more normal and popular due to the growth of national disposable income,the growth of national tourism demand,and the increasingly sophisticated vacation system.At the same time,the promotion of tourism quality,in addition to a growing number of household or individual car ownership makes tourism activity more and more scattered,which has put forward higher requirements for the public services of tourist destinations.The popularity and decentralization of tourism activities greatly promote the development of tourism interpretation.As one of the important component of tourism public service,the interpretation system of tourist attractions is widely used in tourism activities.It is an important bridge between tourists and tourist perception objects,which helps tourists to obtain information and understand the significance of the scenic spots during the course of the tourism activities.As an important part of the tourism interpretation system,signage is one of the most widely used interpretation media.It is necessary to explain whether or not the signage can meet the needs of tourists,help tourists understand the object of tourist perception,deepen the impression of tourists on the scenic spot,thereby increasing the satisfaction of tourists,increasing the rate of revisiting,and promoting the sustainable development of tourist destination tourism.So it needs to evaluate the interpretation effect from the point of view of the visitor.However,at present,the research on signage in China is mostly emphasized on planning and design.The research on the interpretation effect from the perspective of tourists' perception is obviously insufficient.As for the above background information,this study starts with the concept of "interpretation system" and analyzes the relevant theoretical research about the evaluation of the interpretation effect of tourism attractions signage system,which is on thebasis of the perspective of tourist perception.The study expounds the elements and principles of the planning and design of the tourism attractions signage,and analyzes the requirements of the design process.The study selects the representative scenic spots of Datong: Yungang Grottoes,Huayan Temple,Hanging Temple as case studies,and analyzes the interpretation effect of the tourism attractions signage system from the perspective of tourists' perception.The study analyzes the evaluation factors of the interpretation effect of the signage of tourist attractions and constructs the evaluation index system of the interpretation effect of Datong tourist attractions by means of quantitative research methods:descriptive analysis,factor analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis.There are three common factors including the spatial layout of the signage,form design and interpretation content.This study shifts the traditional qualitative research method to quantitative research,and quantitatively evaluates the commentary effect of the case study commentaries.The tourists have better evaluation on the spatial layout of the signage and the explanation of the figure design factor of the Datong tourist attractions,and the evaluation of the explanation of the description of the scenic spots is poor.At last,we work out some practical suggestions on the construction and development of the interpretation signage of Datong tourist attractions,in order to improve tourists satisfaction,increase the revisit rate,and further promote the sustainable development of tourism in Datong. |
