Barter trade is one of the commonly used trade methods in the form of international trade in Thailand.This paper mainly analyzes the specific performance of the trade form of"Thailand for China High Speed Rail".Thailand's agricultural production is developed and high-tech production is backward.Therefore,agricultural products are often exchanged for foreign high-tech,but historically,the results achieved by this form of trade are not significant.This paper analyzes the feasibility of the Thai rice exchange high-speed rail project through SWOT method.When analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of internal trade,this paper mainly analyzes and summarizes the comparative advantages and international trade needs of China and Thailand,while external opportunities and challenges.In this regard,this paper mainly summarizes the macro and international trade situation.This paper believes that the comprehensive competitiveness of Thai rice in the international market is outstanding,and the Chinese market is also one of the main markets for Thai rice exports;China's high-speed rail industry is developing rapidly and its technology content is high,while the development of Thai railways is backward and urgently needs to be upgraded and upgraded.Judging from the respective comparative advantages of China and Thailand,there is a certain basic condition and mutual demand for rice exchange between China and Thailand.However,the difference in rail specifications between China and Thailand has led to higher construction costs for the Sino-Thai railway.The unstable political situation in Thailand has also brought unstable factors to the construction of China-Thailand railway.The drawbacks of barter trade itself,especially the lack of monetary value,opaque transactions,etc.,the period of superimposed agricultural production is not stable enough,etc.The barter trade has brought great inconvenience,which fundamentally restricts the feasibility of Thai rice exchange for high-speed railways in China.This paper further analyzes the existing Thai barter trade case and finds that although the Thai rice exchange high-speed railways are their respective comparative advantages,they can bring certain trade benefits to each other,but they are subject to the constraints of trade forms,especially Thailand.The instability of the domestic situation and the fluctuations in agricultural production and production have made this trade model less viable.At the same time,from the historical experience,if the barter trade overlaps the monetary mechanism,it can often promote the development of bilateral trade.Therefore,this paper believes that the general direction of Thai rice for China's high-speed rail is feasible,but it needs to increase the currency trading mechanism,and sign the high-speed rail production agreement and the rice procurement supplement agreement in the form of rice-currency-high-speed rail,which can better promote the development of bilateral trade.
