A Research On The Relativity Between Tourism Industry Development And Economic Growth In Shandong Province

In the 40 years of reform and opening up,Shandong Province,the national economy maintained steady growth,at the same time,the tourism industry has made remarkable achievements.Tourism is a comprehensive industry with strong driving force and strong development momentum.It plays an important role in accelerating economic transformation and upgrading and optimizing industrial structure.The tourism industry is an important part of the national economy of Shandong Province.Can it be considered as a strategic pillar industry of the national economy of Shandong Province,and it can reasonably develop tourism resources,explore economic development models,and become a new economy? The growth point has certain research significance.Therefore,this thesis takes the relationship between the development of tourism industry and economic growth in Shandong Province as the topic,and comprehensively uses qualitative analysis,theoretical analysis and econometric analysis to quantify whether there is a cascade relationship between Shandong tourism industry development and economic growth,and between them.Whether the relationship is short-term or long-term;the development of the tourism industry in Shandong Province to promote economic growth depends on the scale expansion or on the improvement of tourism quality.First,based on a large number of domestic and foreign literature references,the interaction mechanism between tourism industry and regional economy is analyzed based on industrial development theory,regional economic growth related theory,and industrial relevance theory.Secondly,it analyzes the current situation of the development of tourism industry in Shandong Province from three aspects: the development of tourism economy,the situation of tourism traffic and the development of tourism elements;and analyzes the economic growth of Shandong Province from the perspective of GDP and its growth rate.Based on this,it analyzes the leading role of tourism industry in economic growth from the aspects of income effect and foreign exchange earning effect.At the same time,it analyzes Shandong Province from the aspects of economic growth,promotion of tourism demand,improvement of infrastructure and formation of a strong competitive advantage in the tourism industry.The Effect of Economic Growth on the Development of Tourism Industry.Finally,based on the actual data from 1990 to 2017 in Shandong Province,an empirical analysis of the relationship between tourism industry development and economic growth was conducted,and the unit root test was used to examine the indicators of tourism industry development and GDP in Shandong Province.It can be seen that they are all first-order single integers.Sequence,indicating that they may have a cointegration relationship.Using the Johansen cointegration test comprehensively,the VAR model and the VECM model were constructed to study the relationship between inbound tourism industry,domestic tourism industry and economic growth,and concluded that:First,the tourism industry development and economic growth in Shandong province are mutually causal,which means that the development of the tourism industry drives economic growth,while economic growth promotes the development of the tourism industry.Second,the relationship between the development of tourism industry and economic growth in Shandong Province is mainly affected by long-term,and short-term dynamic changes are weak.Third,the development of tourism industry in Shandong Province to promote economic growth depends on the improvement of tourism quality.In this thesis,the relationship between the development of tourism industry and the growth of national economy in Shandong Province is studied in detail.It provides a theoretical basis for the development of tourism industry in Shandong Province.Based on the actual situation in Shandong Province,it proposes four suggestions for the development of tourism industry in Shandong Province.
