Event-Driven Accounting Information System Based On Data Warehouse

From the 90s of the last century to today,the great changes in the business environment were driven by the information technology revolution and the global integration of the economy.The academic circle of accounting also hopes to accomplish this challenge through the revolution of information technology.The new information technology is different from the traditional accounting information system.The key lies in the data acquisition scope and the change of storage structure.The traditional accounting information system only automate the accounting process.The information provided by the accounting is still unable to meet the needs of management and decision-making.Nowadays,information technology,as the basis of the working environment of enterprises,is the most characteristic of the times,especially the information and economic environment based on the rapidly developing Internet technology and computer technology.All over the world,all walks of life are slowly developing towards information management.This has become an inevitable trend.Only when we closely follow the pace of the times will we have better prospects.Under such a new situation,the traditional accounting information system is bound to inject new information management ideas and technologies.The effective way to solve the problem of traditional accounting information system is to build an event driven accounting information system based on data warehouse.This paper starts with the development of data warehouse principle,event driven mechanism and accounting informatization,and then introduces the necessity and feasibility of applying data warehouse and event driven mechanism to accounting informatization.After that,we build three event driven accounting information system based on data warehouse from the following aspects:business process reengineering,event driven data mode design and data warehouse design.The accounting process is embedded in the process of business execution,accounting information processing and accounting rules control are carried out in the event of business events.The accounting information system,which takes data warehouse as the main technology and event driven,can achieve the functions of accounting,management,control and decision support.Finally,the accounting information system of A group is analyzed and the optimization suggestions are put forward.The purpose of this article is to implement the idea of integration,and use event driven mechanism to integrate business process and accounting,and integrate data based on comprehensive data and historical data needed by enterprise decision analysis.Breaking the limitations of traditional accounting information systems that use data mode single and passive data processing processes.According to the rapid,convenient,diversified,decision-related information needs of the users of different industry accounting information.
