Investigation Report On Farmers' Willingness To Insure Agricultural Catastrophe Insurance In Zhucheng City,Shandong Province

On May 31,2017,the Ministry of Finance issued the “Work Plan for the Major Agricultural Insurance Project for Grain Production Provinces” and decided to select 200 cities and counties with better agricultural foundations in 13 major grain-producing provinces including Hebei,Shandong and Henan.Disaster insurance pilot.On June 22 of the same year,Shandong Province formulated the "Shandong Provincial Agriculture Disaster Insurance Pilot Work Program" and selected 20 cities and counties with relatively mature agricultural insurance development and a certain scale of agricultural production to carry out this pilot project.In order to more clearly understand the farmers' needs for agricultural disaster insurance in pilot areas and the factors that influence demand,they will provide further reference for the pilot work,promote the development and popularization of agricultural disaster insurance,and implement this survey.The survey area selected Zhucheng City,Shandong Province,one of the pilot cities and counties,taking 261 farmers in Zhucheng City as a sample,using statistical software to use Logistic model to analyze the possible influencing factors of agricultural catastrophe insurance demand,and obtaining the family year.The income,income of agriculture accounts for the proportion of annual household income,the total area of ??two food crops(corn,wheat)grown by the family,and whether the loss can withstand the independent influence of the respondents' attitude toward the disaster insurance products.According to the analysis results,the recommendations for improving rural households' insurance needs for catastrophic disasters are specifically proposed: From the social point of view,it is necessary to further strengthen the propaganda work of TV and the Internet on common sense for prevention of agricultural catastrophe;from the government's point of view,it is necessary to increase support and improve it moderately.At the same time,we will coordinate and promote various agricultural policies at the level of protection to complement each other;from the point of view of industry development,we should vigorously expand the reinsurance market for agricultural disaster insurance;from the point of view of the insurance company,we should really enable farmers to understand catastrophic insurance products while improving service satisfaction.
