The highly recognized and best essential segment of any economy in the world is Small and medium enterprises(SMEs).Policymakers are giving the premier priority to SMEs,because of their already confirmed multidimensional support to the socioeconomic atmosphere of a country.By 2021,as Bangladesh is expecting to reach upper-middleincome country status and a developed nation by 2041,small and medium enterprises can play an outstanding role in this regard.Although the fundamental role in the economic development of the country is played by small and medium enterprises but yet can't exceedingly donate to enhancing its economy.On the other hand,China has developed its economy by flourishing a huge number of small and medium-sized business units and going to be the economic superpower in the world within the upcoming days if the current flow of economic progress is continued.However,this study,`A Comparative Study of SMEs between Bangladesh and China',was undertaken to find out and compare the possible aspects of SMEs in the economic growth of Bangladesh and China in terms of GDP growth,employment,export import-import and examine the successful policies,techniques and significant factors of Chinese SMEs.As SMEs along with large business units are acting as the driving force of miraculous Chinese economic growth,so to find out the secrets there has been a lot of study and analysis' s on Chinese SME's,their role and impact on the economy.China has become a wonderful example for the world especially for the developing countries like Bangladesh.Bangladesh can acclimatize China's sagacity to speed up the development of its small and medium entities development,as China had the applied knowledge of small and medium level enterprises and has become regularly fruitful in this sector.
