Interbank business refers to the business of commercial banks taking financial institutions as the object of business cooperation and financial intermediation with financial institutions. In recent years, with China's interest rate market continues to advance, the competition of banking, commercial banks to the original loan as the core business model has been a tremendous impact, the banking industry gradually from the traditional "separate operation" mode to "mixed" mode of development,in this context, the interbank business gradually by the commercial banks to pay attention to it,because it can escape from the supervision and expand the profit, after several years of rapid development, has become one of the main business of commercial banks. However, there is a problem of mismatch between the commercial banks' interbank business itself, and the interbank business of the bank may also have an impact on its liquidity. Therefore, this paper analyzes the driving factors of the business development of commercial banks in China and its influence on its own liquidity. This paper first introduces the classification, main business models and characteristics of China's commercial banks at the present stage, and analyzes the mechanism of three types of interbank business' s impact on the liquidity of commercial banks. Then, starting from the micro data of China's listed banks from 2010 to 2016,this paper analyzes the development status of China's listed banks' interbank business, and makes a theoretical and empirical analysis of the driving factors that influence the rapid development of interbank business. Finally, this paper selects the proportion of current assets and short-term funds as a measure of liquidity.By analyzing the panel data of listed banks,it analyzes the impact of different types of interbank businesses on liquidity in China's commercial banks. The following conclusions are drawn: after the shortage of money in 2013,the regulation of interbank business tightened. The scale and share of interbank assets in China's listed banks gradually shrank, while the scale and proportion of interbank liabilities had not been affected.Compared to the state-owned bank, small and medium-sized bank in the interbank market is more active;the development of interbank business driven factors, regulatory factors, the scale of bank assets, the proportion of the impact of macroeconomic policies on commercial interbank liabilities is significant;the Commercial Bank of our country without the type of service industry has significant influence on the flow. Moreover, small and medium scale banking industry on the impact of the flow is greater than the state-owned banks. Finally, based on the results of the study, this paper puts forward some suggestions to standardize the development of the business and prevent the liquidity risk.
