Study On The Evaluation Of Urban Habitability

The development of urbanization has created brilliant achievements,but also brought a series of urban problems,making it difficult to continue to meet people's strong demand for quality of life and environment.Both domestic and foreign city managers are keen to build a kind of ecological good,comfortable living,can continuously develop livable city.Therefore,the construction of livable cities is urgent and important in order to meet the increasing demand of residents 'high quality of life.Xi'an,the capital of the thirteen dynasties,not only has a long historical tradition,but also is an important geographical location in the history of our country.Although some achievements have been made in the construction of livable city in recent years,there are still problems such as poor environmental quality and imperfect public infrastructure.Therefore,according to the combing of relative literature and the characteristics of Xi'an city,this paper constructs the evaluation index of residents 'satisfaction.The purpose of the construction of liveable city is to create a livable,livable,workable and learnable environment,so that the residents 'increasing basic material and spiritual pursuit are satisfied.Therefore,whether the city is livable mainly depends on the subjective feelings of residents to express,this article with residents to the city of xi'an livable satisfaction survey,it highlights the "people-oriented" concept,more can reflect the status of the city master.Therefore,this paper constructs the evaluation index of liveability of Xi'an city,which consists of seven factors: social ties,life convenience,ecological environment,business opportunities,social participation,cultural recognition and urban belonging.This paper makes an empirical study of the residents 'satisfaction with the livability of Xi'an city by using factor analysis.Through the factor analysis,the five main factors of belonging,ecological environment,political environment,living environment and cultural cognition are obtained.The empirical results show that the satisfaction level of residents of Xi'an city to the livability of the city is general.Among them,political environment and urban belonging score are high,but in ecological environment and residential environment score is low.This paper analyzes the satisfaction of residents in physical space,social life and self-value realization,and finds out the problems in the construction of livable city in Xi'an.Thereby,some suggestions and strategies are put forward for the livable construction of Xi'an city.This paper focuses on strengthening ecological and civilizational construction,improving peripheral supporting facilities,rationally planning roads,upgrading "hard" and "soft" culture,and introducing measures of participating mechanism to provide theoretical support for the construction of liveability in Xian city.
