Henan Province is selected as the study area,through RS technology we can deal with the land use remote sensing image data of 18 cities in 2015.Using pedodiversity method to study land use and analyze the relationship between land use and soil and landform.The main conclusions are as following:(1)The range of evenness index of land use types is[0.264,0.646],and the distribution of land use patterns in Jiyuan City is ranking the first uniform while the distribution of Zhoukou is highly concentrated resulting in its lowest evenness.Using method of fitting analysis to study therelationship between the area proportion of land use types and evenness index and the average coefficient of determination R~2is[0.179,0.888],it shows that the highest fitting degree is cultivated land while the lowest is urban construction land;The results of correlation analysis and fitting analysis are basically consistent.Again,the distribution of cultivated land is more uniform and the distribution of urban construction land is relatively concentrated.(2)The spatial diversity index of cultivated land is the highest,which is related to the provincial situation that Henan is agriculture-based province;Forest land is decreasing significantly from the west to the east and Sanmenxia has the highest dispersion and stability,which is related to the local terrain;With the increase of grid scale,the distribution of water with its conservancy facilities is increasing,however,the 18 cities have 4 rules:strict increase and decrease,and non-strict increase and decrease at different grid scales;The spatial distribution diversity index of urban construction land at the provincial scale is in a stable state,the difference between the mean values of the 18 cities at the different grid scales is obvious,by means of analysis of variance we can know Zhoukou is more stable than Shangqiu;the distribution of industrial,mining&storing land and transportation land in Zhengzhou has the highestspatial diversity distribution,which is closely related to the development policy of Zhengzhou in recent years.(3)Henan province is located in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain which is an alluvial plain by the impact of the Yellow River,Huaihe and the Haihe River,so the Chao soil and the cinnamon soil are the dominant soils in the study area.Using the fitting function to study the impact of soil richness and soil composition diversity on the composition diversity of land use,the impact of the latter on land use is more stable.In addition to the dominant soil,there are other soils that play a decisive role in the spatial distribution of cultivated land,because using correlation analysis method to study the spatial distribution diversity of dominant soil and the spatial distribution diversity of land use,the correlation coefficient between them is the least.At the same time,it also shows that more factors should be considered in the study of the spatial distribution of land use.(4)In the whole province,the hill area is the main landform of the urban construction land,while the mountain is the main landform of the forest land and the plain is the main landform in the rest types of land use.The existence of a large number of residential sites makes the 4 landforms most evenly distributed in urban construction land.The plain is distributed in 17 provincial cities except Sanmenxia.The Nanyang basin is distributed in Nanyang and Zhumadian.The distribution of the basin in Nanyang is more even than Zhumadian,which is related to the number of spots in Nanyang basin.In 17 provincial cities,the evenness index of plain landform in urban construction land is the highest that distributes between[0.684,0.913].It shows that the urban construction land is mainly distributed in the plain,which is mainly related to the climatic conditions,hydrology and the level of agricultural development in the plain area.Multiple linear regression analysis can be used to explain the relationship between land use,cultivated land and forest land.
