From the early feature phones to the current smart phones and various endless electronic devices,the achievements of wireless communication technology have unconsciously changed our lives.Various Instant Video and We Media and competitive games are filling our lives,and the popularity of these entertainment activities has put forward higher requirements for wireless communication technology.Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM)technology has the advantages of low delay and high rate,and it also improved the spectrum utilization rate.But OFDM also has defects,the signal using this technology has a peak-to-average ratio,which will make the power amplifier(PA)approach the nonlinear region,resulting in more serious nonlinear distortion of the signal,reducing PA efficiency and affecting the performance of the entire communication system.In this dissertation,the author focuses on the problem of reducing the peak-to-average ratio of the input signal,and explains the reasons for the peak-to-average ratio of the signal from the principle analysis of OFDM technology.The author analyzes and compares the existing algorithms for reducing the peak-to-average ratio,and concludes that the Peak Cancellation Crest Factor Reduction(PC-CFR)method is an effective means to reduce the high amplitude of the signal.The implementation of the PC-CFR algorithm is not open source.For engineers or small and micro enterprises,if you want to use this algorithm to solve the problem of high signal-to-average ratio,you need a lot of money to buy it.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the realization of PC-CFR algorithm.The author first explains the relevant theoretical knowledge of the algorithm and give the relevant indicators.Through consulting a large number of documents,the hardware implementation process of the PC-CFR scheme in FPGA is analyzed in depth,and the work done by each sub-module is carried out accordingly research.The author combines the hardware implementation process of the algorithm,the basic principle of the algorithm implementation,and the understanding of the specific implementation process of each module in the software.In this dissertation,the PC-CFR algorithm is implemented by MATLAB.The results of the algorithm are analyzed in MATLAB through simulation.When the EVM is less than 5 and PAPR@0.01% is required to be within the range of 7.0 ? 8.0 d B specified by 3GPP,the 3GPP standard data source with PAPR@0.01% is 9.57 d B After the LTE FDD signal is processed by the PC-CFR algorithm,when the target PAPR is 7.4 d B,7.5 d B and 7.6 d B,the corresponding PAPR@0.01% after peak removal is 7.60 d B,7.69 d B and 7.78 d B respectively The error is within the range of the index,and the peak of the signal is eliminated.
