With the rapid development of mobile communication technology,the number of mobile terminal devices has also increased dramatically,resulting in the increasingly prominent problem of energy consumption in communication systems.Especially with the development of 5G,massive MIMO(Multiple-Input and Multiple Output)system will become the key technology of the next generation wireless network,and the application of massive MIMO antennas in base stations will lead to more serious energy consumption.Based on the current situation,the genetic algorithm is used to research the beam energy allocation of array antennas,so that the radiation intensity of transmitting antennas can be adjusted according to the actual demand of users,so as to further improve the energy efficiency in antenna systems.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1.Combining with the characteristics of genetic algorithm,the beam energy allocation of array antennas is researched.Toward this end,a(8+2)-port microwave network with8-element transmitting array antenna and 2-receiving antenna working at 2.42 GHz is designed by ANSYS HFSS.Simulation results show that the proposed method can realize the beam energy allocation for array antennas.2.Based on the method of beam energy allocation,the method of beam energy control for array antennas is researched.Toward this end,the effectiveness of the beam energy control method is verified by the(8+2)-port microwave network.The results of operation and simulation show that the proposed new method can further improve the beam energy control capability of the array antenna.3.The beam energy control method is applied to the beam synthesis of array antennas.For this,a 4-element transmitting array antenna for beam synthesis is designed,and based on a(4+3)-port microwave network,the beam switching and beam forming of the transmitting array antenna are realized successively.The simulation and measurement data show that,the proposed method is suitable for beam synthesis of array antennas.
