Relay selection is the key technology of the cooperative communication systems.The quality of relay selection play a decisive role in the performance of cooperative communication systems.The efficient use of energy harvesting is critical for energy harvesting cooperative communication systems.Therefore,how to effectively use the energy collected by the relay nodes in the relay selection,and achieve the improvement of the overall performance of the energy collection cooperation system have the scientific significance and practical value.Research shows that the fairness plays a significant role in optimizing the overall performance of the system.Based on this,this paper conducts research on the scientific issue of the fairness of relay selection in the energy harvesting cooperative communication system,and has made the phased progress.The details as follows:(1)In the energy harvesting cooperative communication system,from the perspective of energy consumption such as EH relay nodes,a fair selection method of EH relays with equal energy consumption is proposed.In this method,the energy consumption ratio of each EH relay node is maintained equal,and the transmission power of the EH relay node is also determined when the EH relay node is selected.On the basis of the above,the mathematical expression of the average channel capacity of the system is derived.The results of simulation verification and comparison show that the theoretical performance is in good agreement with the simulation results.The proposed method can effectively increase the average channel capacity of the system and improve the energy utilization efficiency of the system.To overcome the energy harvesting cooperative communication system may exist at the EH relay node The energy bottleneck provides useful solutions.(2)In the energy harvesting cooperative communication system using SWIPT(Simultaneous Wireless Information and Power Transfer)technology,from the perspective of system fairness,a fair selection method of EH relay based on power splitting is proposed.In this method,with the definition of system fairness,the global optimal search method is used to obtain the optimal power splitting factor of the EH relay node.Based on this,the EH relay node corresponding to the relay link with the largest channel capacity is selected Data forwarding andenergy transmission.Then,the mathematical expressions of the system average channel capacity and outage probability of the proposed method are derived.The results of simulation verification and comparison show that the proposed method achieves a larger average channel capacity of the system while transmitting energy,showing a unique advantages.In general,the research of this paper has achieved not only expected goals and good results but also provide a useful way to design and achieve the energy harvesting cooperative communication systems.
