The Application Of Single Object Pose Estimation For Sports

Human pose estimation is a key step in understanding human behavior in images andvideos.This article focuses on the application of single-person pose estimation in sports analysis.In this paper,the top-down method in human pose estimation is used.In the first stage,Siamese Networks are used to achieve single object detection and tracking,and in the second stage,single-person pose estimation method is used to locate keypoints of the person,the third stage adopts human pose optimization strategy to solve the keypoints intersection problem.By combination three independent methods we realize the data extraction part of the sports analysis system,and subsequently analyze and mine the extracted data according to specific needs to obtain effective evaluation indicators for athlete training,thereby help athletes scientifically adjust the training method.
