The contour map, also known as the isogram,is a kind of graphics widely used.It is a graph representing the continuous distribution and gradually changing quantitative characteristics based on the connection of equal numerical points. It is the most basic and common form of data representation in geological resource information system. It combines data with images, and helps professionals observe the data trends and results of computer simulations more clearly. So that it can be one of the most important pieces of representation in many areas. In the field of geosciences,three-dimensional reconstruction and visualization technology changes the traditional static two-dimensional map into the expression of three-dimensional dynamic virtual geological environment.Through the visualization of the stratum contour, the complex three-dimensional terrain can be presented more visually, which can help to understand the three-dimensional formation structure in a comprehensive and detailed way.It is one of the most important contents of computer visualization to establish a complete formation model and carry out the related visual display. The simulation and expression of traditional geological information was mainly based on plane plan, and used regular grid and Irregular Triangulation Method to construct Digital Elevation Model, and then traced contour. However,in practical applications, the existing expressionsdid not completely take into account the structural characteristics of the geology.Due to the influence of a series of geological movements, such as geological plate movement and so on,the phenomenon of dislocation in stratigraphic horizon occurred, which destroyed the integrity of stratum structure, and formed the phenomenon of geological fracture. In view of the characteristics of geological model stratum visualization, this paper studies and analyzes the shortcomings of traditional geological expression method, using the oil layer stratigraphic data, and carries out the preliminary visualization of the formation data visualization, which laid the foundation for the application of geodetic guidance integrated decision platform. This paper analyzes and summarizes the research status of 3D visualization,Delaunay triangulation and fault data processing technologies at home and abroad, and systematically studies the characteristics of data attributes and 3D visualization methods at the stratigraphic level, putting visualization of stratum contour maps as the main research content.Firstly,This paper carries out the systematic realization of contour map drawing and rendering of stratigraphic data without fault constraint. Then,it analyzes and summarizes the different types of faults and the characteristics of constrained triangular network modeling..Taking the geometric polygons as the prototype,a triangular mesh model with constraints is established.By using the topological structure of the Constrained Delaunay Triangulation network and improved inverse distance weighted interpolation method the problem of the elevation value on both sides of the fault is solved. In order to simplify the data storage mode,it uses the contour classification tracking method. The contour drawing with fault is realized in the development environment of VC ++ and OpenSceneGraph according to the practical application requirements.By establishing the mapping rules of stratum attributes, the contour map is rendered, which realizes the real effect of stratum three-dimensional visualization.
