TD-LTEindoordistributionsystem(IDS)achieves even distribution of indoor mobile base station signals via antenna distribution,which improves the mobile communication in buildings and guarantees ideal signal coverage indoors.This thesis proposes planning and multiple solutions corresponding to the issue of inadequate mobile network signal coverage indoors in Hohhot on the basis of analyzing and doing research on technologiesrelated to the TD-LTE IDS,with focused research on the deficient signal coverage of IDS caused by over-coverage of macro base station,signal leakage of IDS,and shielding from buildings.Real-life cases are introduced here for the deep analysis and discussions,as well as effective solutions.First case is Hohhot Yanyangtian Restaurant Guanggu,which has deficient signal coverage due to over-coverage of macro base station.By adopting “A+Abis” signal testing method,the root cause of this issue is found out in an accurate and efficient way.To achieve better result,the mechanical down-tilt angle of corresponding base station is adjusted from8o to 12o.Second case is the China Mobile Flagship Store located across the Hohhot Xincheng Hotel,which has inadequate signal coverage due to signal leakage of IDS.This problem can be efficiently solved by adjusting the signal source power,system parameters and antenna position;besides,attenuator can be installed on antenna that has signal leakage to reduce its emission power.Third case is the Supermarket located in Xincheng Homeland residence community in Xincheng,Hohhot,which has limited signal coverage due to shielding from buildings.The solution for this situation is to rectify the current IDS or to set up a new IDS.Move or change the positions of certain objects according to the actual scenario,avoiding shield to most signals from buildings to improve signal reception.
