Traveling wave tube(TWT)is currently the most widely used vacuum device in the field of military equipment and aerospace.Compared with other microwave amplifier,it has the advantages of wide frequency band,high power and high efficiency.There are many kinds of TWT products,among them,UWB TWT is mainly used in all kinds of military equipment,which requires a larger output power and a higher efficiency of the whole tube within the specified bandwidth;Space TWT is mainly used in aerospace fields such as satellites and space vehicles,which requires more stringent basic characteristics and sub characteristics,while the bandwidth and output power are not too demanding.The purpose of TWT commission is to adjust many performance parameters to the best.However,because there are many performance parameters of TWT,and different types of TWT also have some special performance parameters,so it is very difficult to debug TWT at the same time.At present,the commission work of TWT in China mainly depends on human experience.However,for this complex optimization problem,manual debugging has many disadvantages,and the products after commission are difficult to meet the performance requirements.In this paper,the commission method of TWT is taken as the research object,and a set of high-performance intelligent debugging system of TWT is designed by using the fast non dominated sorting genetic algorithm(NSGA-II)and the all electric parameter automatic testing system.In this system,the cathode voltage value and collector voltage value of TWT are taken as decision variables,multiple performance parameters of TWT are taken as optimization objectives,and the corresponding performance parameters are tested by the all electric parameter automatic test system.The performance parameters are continuously optimized by the fast non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm,so as to achieve the purpose of debugging.The intelligent commission system of TWT completely overcomes the defects of manual commission and realizes the automation and intelligence of debugging.The main work of this paper is as follows:1.Learn the basic genetic algorithm,deeply understand the coding method,crossover operator,selection operator,mutation operator and other concepts involved in the basic genetic algorithm,and analyze their impact on the optimization process;learn the fast non dominated genetic algorithm(NSGA-II),understand the concepts of fast non dominated sorting,congestion calculation and elite strategy,and analyze the space-time complexity and convergence speed of the algorithm And the optimization process.2.Understand the basic principle of TWT high voltage power supply,master the communication mode of power control system software and power information control method.According to the characteristics of the high-voltage power supply,the voltage value combination sequencing method is proposed to ensure the stability of the highvoltage power supply during commission;understand the process and precautions of manual debugging,and propose the helix current protection mechanism to avoid the damage of TWT during commission.Understand the structure of TWT electrical parameters automatic test system and integrated test platform,and understand the test methods of different performance parameters of the system.3.Combined with the fast non dominated genetic algorithm(NSGA-II),the programmable high voltage power supply,the automatic test system of the electrical parameters of TWT and the integrated test platform,a high-performance intelligent commission system of TWT is designed.The multi-objective optimization algorithm is applied to the commission of TWT.Realize the user interface of the intelligent commission system,which supports user input,commission process display,data result analysis and other functions to meet the user's needs.4.Using the intelligent commission system of TWT to optimize the efficiency of the whole tube under the saturation state of low frequency,medium frequency and high frequency points,comparing the optimization results with the results of manual commission to verify the effectiveness of the commission system;using the intelligent commission system of TWT to optimize the saturation efficiency of medium frequency points and group time fluctuation,comparing the optimization results with the results of manual commission to verify the effectiveness of the commission system Effectiveness.
