Frequency modulated continuous wave radar has the advantages of simple structure,low emission peak power,no distance blind area,the wide time-bandwidth product,and the high range resolution.In recent years,the related theory and application research has been developed so deep.Based on the above advantages of frequency modulated continuous wave radar,this paper studied the three dimensional detection method for targets with short range and slow velocity.Firstly,according to the characteristics of echo beat signal,this paper introduced the detection principle and method of range and velocity,at the same time,this paper introduced the signal processing methods of the beat signal,including moving target indication and coherent accumulation,further,this paper introduced the methods to improve the range and velocity measuring precision by frequency modulated continuous wave radar.Then this paper introduced the method of one dimensional angle by in frequency modulation continuous wave radar system,and a variety of transmitting and receiving antenna structures were designed,and the feasibility of the systems were verified by simulation.Based on the principle of one dimensional angle measuring,the usage of digital beam forming was expanded to two dimensional angle measuring,and the two dimensional transmitting and receiving array was studied and the feasibility of the systems were verified by simulation too.Finally,the three dimensional information of targets were synthesized,besides,through the design of signal processing,this paper solve the two dimensional angles matching problem in the multi-objective situation,and the correctness of the proposed method is validated by computer simulation.Finally,based on the above theory study,this paper designed the radar system to detect the three dimensional information of targets.
