In the high-speed optical access transmission system,it is close to the basic limit of transmission capacity,so it is of great significance to combine the optical access with the current research hotspot—space division multiplexing,to achieve higher-speed optical access. In this thesis, different modes in few mode fiber are used to achieve space division multiplexing in passive optical network, that is,mode division multiplexing,to achieve high-speed optical access based on space division multiplexing. On this basis, considering the output signal coupling is serious when the data rate continues to increase and the large computational complexity of mode demultiplexing, the robust independent component analysis algorithm is used to achieve the mode demultiplexing under the condition that the source signal is statistically independent and the prior information is insufficient. The major works and innovation of the thesis include the following:1.Proposed a robust mode demultiplexing algorithmIn view of the serious signal crosstalk in the receiver of the space division multiplexing transmission system based on few mode fiber,a mode demultiplexing algorithm based on robust independent component analysis is proposed to achieve the mode demultiplexing in the electric field.2.Achieve the mode demultiplexing in the space division multiplexing system based on few mode fiberThe mode demultiplexing algorithm based on robust independent component analysis is achieved by Matlab software, and a simulation platform based on few mode fiber is built in OptiSystem software to verify the proposed mode demultiplexing algorithm. The proposed algorithm is used to achieve the mode demultiplexing successfully, and the robust independent component analysis algorithm is proved to be able to mode demultiplexing in the high-speed optical access transmission system. The high-speed optical access technology based on space division multiplexing provides technical support for the achievement of indoor high-speed optical access. The system achieves the mode demultiplexing through the digital signal processing, which does not need to estimate the channel.Algorithm uses kurtosis as the contrast function, which makes the data easy to process and reduces the computational complexity,so it is more suitable for large-scale application in the actual optical access system, and it has certain significance for promoting the commercialization of high-speed optical access transmission system.
