On the background of projectile penetrating multi-layer hard targets,the signal from the traditional accelerator appears aliasing while penetrating the multi-layer hard targets,causing the problem that the targets are hard to identify accurately.A new type of piezoelectric accelerometer is designed,which has filter characteristics and switching characteristics.Firstly,the element and composition of the multi-layer hard target acceleration signal are analyzed.By setting the vibration model of the missile body,the natural frequency of the missile is analyzed,which provides the theoretical basis for the setting of the filter frequency of the new sensor.Secondly,the structure of the new piezoelectric accelerometer is designed,and its working principle is described.The three performance indexes of the sensor are illustrated by experiments,namely,filter characteristic,threshold acceleration and sensitivity.And summarizes the precautions in the sensor installation process.Furthermore,the mechanical properties of the cushioning element are measured,and the influence of the mechanical properties on the filter and switching characteristics of the new piezoelectric accelerometer is analyzed.Finally,the practical effect of the new piezoelectric acceleration sensor in extracting the penetrating layer information is tested by the second impact experiment and the art illery experiment.It is proved that the switching characteristics and filtering characteristics of the new piezoelectric accelerometer are effective to solve the aliasing phenomenon of acceleration signal during multiple shocks.
