With the rapid development of mobile communication technologies and the popularity of mobile terminals,the demand for location-based services is increasing.The demand for high positioning accuracy,high availability and high coverage has become an important direction of current positioning technology research.The 5G positioning technology with great potential has attracted the attention of researchers at home and abroad.This paper mainly designs and implements a 5G positioning demo system based on USRP-2943 R.First of all,this paper expounds the research background and research value of 5G positioning technology,then introduces the research status of 5G positioning technology,and draws the 5G positioning demo system based on USRP-2943 R.Secondly,this paper designs the basic parameters and frame structure of the positioning system based on USRP-2943 R,and designs the implementation of the positioning system.Frame detection and symbol timing synchronization techniques of the system are proposed.A frequency offset estimation and compensation scheme of the system is proposed for the frequency offset problem in the implementation.The positioning algorithm based on wideband angle estimation is studied,and an improved wideband angle estimation technique is proposed.According to the analysis of the antenna clock deviation of USRP-2943 R,the antenna clock bias estimation and compensation scheme is proposed,and the positioning system is verified by MATLAB.Thirdly,this paper implements the design of the USRP-2943 R based positioning system.The implementation structure of the transmitter and receiver of the system is designed,and the transmitter and receiver are implemented on the USRP-2943 R using the Labview Communications programming language.Among them,each module of the transmitter and receiver is introduced in detail,and the Labview Communications implementation program is introduced.Finally,this paper tests the positioning system based on USRP-2943 R.The test principle,test equipment and test environment used in the test of this system are introduced in detail.The angle estimation accuracy and positioning accuracy of the system are investigated.The analysis results show that real-time indoor positioning can be realized,the angle measurement accuracy is better than 5 degrees,and the positioning accuracy is better than 0.3m,which satisfies the design requirements of the system.
