In recent years,with the continuous innovation of information and communication technology and the increase in the market penetration of virtual reality devices,users' demand for panoramic content has increased,the number of panoramic content creators has continued to increase,and panoramic content has diversified.Between "creative" and "demand",the rigid demand for content platforms that meet daily entertainment consumption and panoramic experiences has become more apparent.The current market urgently needs a better panoramic content playing platform,connecting content producers and consumers,and bringing more high-quality panoramic content.In order to build a panoramic content playing platform,this article focuses on the entire process of panoramic content playing,High Efficiency Video Coding(HEVC),Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP(DASH)technology,panoramic content transmission scheme,and personality recommendation strategy.The specific work of this article is mainly reflected in: the design and implementation of panoramic content playing platform,the main functions include panoramic content upload module,content transmission module and panoramic content personalized recommendation module.(1)Aiming at the painful point that panoramic video transmission requires high bandwidth,a high-definition transmission and playback solution in the view area is proposed.(2)In the transmission scheme,Tile in HEVC is used to divide the video,and then MP4 Box is used to package the video and generate a DASH video stream.After processing the same panoramic video with different qualities,a Spatial Relationship Description(SRD)and Media Presentation Description(MPD)is generated.(3)In the playing solution,the client acquires video content based on the MPD file and the user's current viewing angle,stitches together videos with different definitions,plays the video through ffmpeg,and implements VR interaction and cross-platform playback based on Unity.(4)Research on item-based collaborative filtering recommendation algorithm,design and implement panoramic content recommendation system.Finally,this paper designs and executes the functional and non-functional tests of the platform,the test results meet the expected goals,and invites and organizes users to conduct subjective experimental tests for video viewing.The experimental results show that panoramic content as a new media medium is deeply loved by users,and the application of block transmission and DASH strategy to obtain a better playing experience,verifying the feasibility and effectiveness of the panoramic content playback platform.
