Passive intermodulation is the signal interference caused by the nonlinearity of passive devices.With the development of wireless communication system,which is realizing the improvement of high power,high sensitivity and high test standard,and the hidden danger caused by passive intermodulation to quality of wireless communication is increasingly prominent.The high-accuracy of passive intermodulation measurement and localization is significance in PIM research and related architecture of wireless communication system.In this paper,we propose a wide-band architecture for passive intermodulation localization system based on carrier suppression.Instead of selecting high selectivity for BPF to extract weak PIM product,we used carrier suppression to cancel strong reflect two-tone signal and measure the PIM product.In order to verify the feasibility of wide-band localization system,the function module testing and localization experiments were carried out respectively.The results show that the system work at 0.7?2.3GHz,the carrier suppression could reach more than 40 d B,and the system could realize the measurement and localization of passive intermodulation sources.
