With the continuous development of liquid crystal display panels in the display field,the competition of liquid crystal display panels in the industry is becoming increasingly fierce.Higher display effects and lower costs have become the key to further development of enterprises.How to reduce the cost of LCD under the premise of obtaining the same display effect becomes an important requirement for enterprises.LCD alignment methods are becoming more diverse,the mainstream technology has turned from rubbing plush to light alignment.Polyimide alignment film is an important material for optical alignment of LCD display panels.How to reduce LCD cost becomes an important requirement for LCD companies under the premise of obtaining the same display effect.This paper mainly introduces how to reduce the poor film formation of LCD polyimide alignment film in the production of quantity,improving the film formation yield of LCD polyimide alignment film,and reducing the cost of polyimide alignment film.According to the characteristics of the polyimide alignment film,through experimental design and verification,reducing the thickness of the LCD polyimide alignment film and reducing the cost.Firstly,the process design idea of polyimide alignment film is introduced.,and the quality problems encountered in the mass production of LCD alignment film were analyzed,and the two problems of film formation non-stick coating and uneven printing coating were detailed analyzed.Through the analysis and improvement of enterprise process technology and process equipment,the yield of polyimide alignment film is increased to 98%.Secondly,it is found that in the process of aligning liquid crystal molecules,the thickness of the polyimide alignment film can be appropriately reduced,and the optical alignment design can be optimized so as not to affect the stability of optical parameters.Therefore,we have analyzed and studied the topic of film thickness reduction of alignment film.This paper mainly introduces the verification process of two 32-inch products,800? and 900?,which are different in film thickness and different light alignment conditions.We successfully verified that the 900? PI film thickness and UVM 85 s light alignment design can achieve stable optical effect and RA(reliability assurance)effect,which provides a good direction for our alignment film thickness.
