With the development of various social platforms on Mobile Internet,Short Video apps such as short video,Kuaishou,Weibo and Douyin have become popular,resulting in a large number of short video service requests from users.In the traditional cloud computing model,the cloud computing center must have strong computing and storage capabilities,although with the development of technology,these capabilities are also constantly improving,but with the advent of the 5G era,the growth rate of the number of mobile devices connected to the network will be at a geometric level,and a series of issues such as the further expansion of the communications business scenario,the traditional cloud computing mode can not meet the demand of 5G with low delay and high speed,so it is urgent to find a more reasonable way which is different from the traditional cloud computing mode.The proposed model of Mobile Edge Computing(MEC)Mobile Edge Computing provides a new way to solve the problems brought by Mobile cloud Computing.High definition video is a common application scene in mobile edge computing.The smooth play of video stream must depend on the cache,which can improve or even eliminate the jitter,picture pause,slow play and other problems when the network is congested,and the cache can also solve the redundant request and link consumption caused by a large number of users requesting the same video file.According to the application background of short video service,it is helpful to reduce the delay and improve the Qo S of users by adopting appropriate mobile edge computation short video caching strategy.However,the existing mobile edge caching schemes have the following problems: firstly,most of the existing edge caching schemes are based on fixed network structure,and ignore the mobility of users;secondly,for short video services,most of the edge caching schemes have no specific research scheme for short video service,such as short video source time,Fast User Service request refresh and high download rate,because the task of edge cache is dynamic due to user mobility,the movement of user may cause the failure of successful cache transfer.In the face of the above problems and challenges,this paper proposes a short video caching strategy based on mobile edge computing.The strategy uses the user trajectory prediction algorithm to predict the user's next time slice to move to the destination base station location,cache the user's file content in advance at the destination base station location,and realize the user's request to move seamlessly between base stations,the cache value of file contents is evaluated according to user popularity and user movement speed,and the cache deployment and cache replacement decisions are made according to the cache value.The objective of the short video caching strategy is to minimize the total delay of the system.Six strategies,FIFO,LRU,LFU,KNAPSACK,GREEDY,the strategy of ?Research on edge caching technology based on video content in small cell networks ? are implemented on the simulation platform,and compared with the short video caching strategy designed in this paper,the short video caching strategy designed in this paper can effectively reduce the delay,improve the hit ratio and throughput.
