Faster-than-Nyquist?FTN?signaling system,as a non-orthogonal transmission technology,transmitting at a rate exceeding the N yquist one,may improve the efficiency of bandwidth without the loss of performance.Yet,however,since the FTN signaling system exceeds the transmission rate given by N yquist criterion,it inevitably introduces inter-symbol-interference?ISI?,which must be eliminate by precoder or equalizer.In this thesis,the precoding method in FTN signaling system is studied as following:1?To deal with the colored noise,a WF-GTMH precoding algorithm is designed.On the basis of deducing the statistical properties of color noise in FTN transmission system,whitening filter is designed.Based on FTN transmission system with whitening filter,the generalized channel matrix of transmission system is deduced,and the precoding scheme is designed.The simulation indicate that the proposed WF-GTMH algorithm has 0.2?0.4dB promotion in performance.2?To deduce the calculation complexity of the procoding algorithm,an MMSE precoding algorithm is proposed based on the circulant matrix.By inserting a C yclic Prefix?CP?into the data,one can transfer the linear convolution into a circular one.Yet the general channel matrix transfers into a circulant matrix.And the MMSE precoding algorithm is designed based on it.The analysis indicates that the calculation complexity of the newly designed MMSE algorithm has dropped from O?N 2? to O?Nlog2 N?.3?To further improved the reliability of the system,the thesis joint uses the precoding method with the polar codes in FTN system,regarding the precoding FTN signaling system as a general channel,and designs the fitting code word.The performance of the designed code word is further tested,which significantly exceeds that of the convolutional code,the generalized polar code and the LDPC.
