Bistatic coherent MIMO radar is an emerging radar system which combines bistatic radar with MIMO technology.It has many excellent characteristics,such as high precision and wide coverage,and has become one of the important development directions of modern radar.In this dissertation,the problem of target parameter estimation for bistatic coherent MIMO radar is studied.The main contents are as follows:1.The popular signal subspace estimation algorithm based on parallel factor analysis is introduced,and an improved algorithm is proposed by optimizing the ALS algorithm involved in parallel factor analysis.The performance of ALS algorithm is improved by the proposed method through ameliorating the initialization process and disturbing the iterative results at appropriate time.2.In order to improve the performance of two-dimensional space target parameter estimation,a low computational complexity high-precision estimation algorithm of two-dimensional space target DOA(Direction of Arrival),DOD(Direction of Departure)and Doppler frequency is proposed.Based on the temporal-spatial degree of freedom quadratic expansion method,the accuracy of parameter estimation is improved and the computational complexity is reduced by the proposed algorithm through utilizing parallel factor analysis to process the extended signal.3.In order to realize high-precision parameter estimation of three-dimensional space target with a small number of array elements,a non-uniform linear transmitting L-shaped receiving bistatic coherent MIMO radar signal model is established,and a high-precision parameter estimation algorithm of three-dimensional space target with low array element requirements is proposed based on this model.By processing the echo signal with quadratic linear parallel factor analysis,constructing virtual steering matrix and reducing noise,the high-precision parameter estimation of three-dimensional space target with a small number of array elements is realized.4.In order to obtain the radial acceleration information of the target,a joint estimation algorithm of the target DOD,DOA,radial velocity and radial acceleration is proposed,which based on parallel factor analysis and fractional Fourier transform.The estimation of the target radial velocity and radial acceleration is realized by the proposed algorithm through utilizing the energy aggregation characteristic of fractional Fourier transform.
