Design Of Screen Packaging Connection Detection System Based On Machine Vision

LCD screen(display panel)is an important part of many electronic devices.In the production process of display panel packaging,it is necessary to connect and solidify the panel driver chip on the flexible thin film circuit board.With the decrease of chip size,the accuracy of positioning and connection is also improved.In order to improve production efficiency,an on-line,continuous chip connection accuracy automatic testing equipment is needed.Aiming at the production demand of enterprises,this thesis designed a detection system for connection accuracy of display panel driver chip based on machine vision.The system uses two industrial cameras with microscope heads and suitable light source,which are respectively mounted on the slider of the two-axis slideway,so that the camera can accurately capture the image of the two diagonally fixed areas of the driver chip.Then the image is preprocessed by filtering and image segmentation algorithm.After that,a hierarchical search algorithm is used to match the template of the image,and a locating point is found initially.The key information region ROI is determined by locating point.Finally,the relative offset of the chip is calculated by edge detection of ROI region.After debugging and precision testing,the detection system designed in this paper has been used in actual production.Compared with the original manual sampling and re-measurement method,it greatly improves the detection efficiency and guarantees the product quality.The system software platform can also communicate with the original equipment,feedback compensation data,and improve production accuracy.In addition,the software has the function of data recording,which makes the product information traceable.The testing system is universal and can be used for real-time measurement of different types of products.
