Given its huge capacity,low cost and high safety,the new generation of Optical Disc Jukebox is gradually taking place of the traditional hard disk and becoming the top choice in the backup of near-line data.The lifetime of current Optical Disc has been reached over 50 years.The storage of optical disc is safer than hard discs.But the shortcomings of disc,such as relatively small storage of each disc,and low speed of access,have limited its use in large-scale archival system.This paper centers on mechanism and motion control of the data storage of optical library.According to the function requirements,we establish the motion control system based on NI motion card by adopting the layout of rectangle coordinate.And we also achieves seamless connection with existing big data storage systems,which has certain guiding significance for application of practical engineer.The following parts are the major work of this paper.First of all,the structural design and layout plan of loading and unloading manipulator in accordance with function requirements were built.And three-dimensional model of the data storage of optical library in Solid Works was established,and it includes synchronous tooth belt,basal plate,disk cartridge,three-dimensional model,mainly composed of electromagnetic optical disc holding head,support plate,synchronous toothed belt,connecting plate,disc box,etc.Electromagnet is used to control the power supply of the whole system,so as to control the up and down movement of the pull rod.When the pull rod moves,the grab cam also generates force to make the steel ball move in and out,and finally,the optical disc is clamped and released.And next,control model of the loading and unloading disc system and the motion control system of digital disc library the motion control card is configured on the basis of NI.After analyzing the system requirements,combined with the system design standard,the corresponding hardware is selected to design the driving circuit.At the same time,the corresponding stepping motor driver is given to complete the drive interface and the configuration of the motion control card.Once more,in order to avoid the speed mutation,which leads motion lost and dysfunction,and the concussion during the movement,the standard acceleration algorithms to the steady motion control of the axis was applied,making sure that manipulator runs steady during the operation.Finally,based on the motion assistant and LabVIEW,the motion control software of the optical disk library is developed and designed.In the design process,several functions,such as automatic operation,parameter setting,status display and so on,are designed.After the software design is completed,The function and performance of the software are tested by the corresponding experiments,and the test results are analyzed.It is found that the system has high stability and meets the design standards of the system.At the same time,the algorithm accuracy,stability and effectiveness of the system meet the design standards.
