With the launch of 5G network,as well as the rapid development of emerging businesses such as Internet of things,cloud computing and smart home,people gradually realize that the present optical network transmission capability does not match the switching capability,so the concept of all-optical network is constantly mentioned.The all-optical network has the advantages of high bandwidth,high rate,transparent transmission and strong anti-electromagnetic interference ability that the electric communication network does not have,but the realization of all-optical network is inseparable from all-optical signal processing.All-optical signal processing is a hot research direction in the field of communication,among which all-optical logic signal processing plays a crucial role in improving the speed and flexibility of digital fiber communication system.PPLN waveguide is an optical second-order nonlinear material with fast response speed,long service life and low noise limit,which is applied to quantum communication and quantum information processing.PPLN waveguide is very suitable for all-optical logic signal processing.The research results of this article are as follows:1.All-optical four-one data selector based on cascaded PPLN waveguide is proposed.By analyzing the digital logic characteristics of the optical signal of a single PPLN waveguide and the principle of the four-one data selector and then adopting the method of multi-waveguide cascade,a reasonable scheme which not only conforms to the principle of the four-one data selector,but also satisfies the conditions of multi-waveguide cascade is proposed successfully.Matlab is used to simulate the scheme,and the waveform and parameters of the output signal are analyzed.The results show that the scheme can accurately realize the function of all-optical fou-one data selector,and it also has good signal quality.2.By observing and studying the signal law in the cascade process of waveguide,the waveform law of sum frequency residual light wave in the cascade process of numerical simulation is summarized.The number of output peaks and the size of peak power of the residual optical wave at logic 0 are studied.The comparison is also made for the case that there is only one peak and the peak power is different in the logic 1.
