With the development of computer science and information technology,immersive environment interaction technology is one of the new hotspots in recent years,and attracted more attention in the field of human-computer interaction and scientific visualization.As a sensory with direct energy exchange and information transmission,haptics plays a key role in the natural interaction.At present,the research on the immersive interaction method of combined force tactile rendering has the following shortcomings:limited by the research scenarios and force feedback hardware devices,the calculation of feedback force still needs to be optimized,and the interactive mode are not user-friendly.Therefore,based on haptic rendering,research on an immersive environment interaction method that supports multi-degree-of-freedom(DOF)flexible operation and provides smooth feedback to complex contact surfaces is a valuable topic for human-computer interaction and scientific visualization.This paper focuses on the haptics rendering interaction method under immersive environment.The main work of this paper is as follows:1)This paper proposes a solution for multi-device coordinate system and multi-coordinate system level interaction.2)According to the SOMM paradigm of interaction design,this system solves the problems like lack of interaction mode and no feedback information in VR environment.3)Improves the feedback force calculation model and the concave collision detection algorithm.This paper optimizes the convex decomposition algorithm to propose adaptive optimization methods for the complex 3D objects,which improves the accuracy of collision detection and ensures the stability of interaction.4)This paper research a user study to compares the method with the VR controller from four parts:basic operations,complex operations,virtual assembly operations,stacking operations,etc.The practicability and necessity of the method are verified.In summary,this paper research immersive interaction method based on force feedback rendering device,which has obvious advantages over the current human-computer interaction method.The method proposed supports multi-DOF force feedback interaction,improves the traditional feedback force calculation model,and optimizes the interaction of complex 3D models,which provides a reference for the application of force feedback in immersive environment.
