As a fast and nondestructive geophysical detection method,ground penetrating radar(GPR)has been successfully applied in many fields.It emits high-frequency electromagnetic waves to enter the underground medium,and reflects at the interface where the medium characteristics are very different,so as to realize the detection of underground target.This article takes underground target as the research object,and combines forward modeling technology to study the GPR signal processing method.This study provides a meaningful reference for the field of GPR signal processing.First of all,because data support is required in the GPR signal processing method,the GprMax2 D forward modeling software based on the time-domain finite difference method is studied.Using this software,different conditions of underground target models were established,and forward modeling was conducted to obtain corresponding conclusions,which provided a certain reference value for the analysis of GPR measured data,and at the same time provided a reliable data source for the follow-up study of the GPR signal processing methods.Secondly,the collected GPR signals include not only target signal,but also clutter and other interference.Due to the strong clutter energy,the target signal is suppressed,so a method for clutter suppression based on GoDec is proposed.This method decomposes the GPR signal to extract the target signal,so as to achieve the purpose of suppressing clutter.At the same time,the initialization matrix in the decomposition process is improved,and the calculation speed is further improved.The results of simulation experiments show that the proposed method can effectively remove clutter.Compared with other methods,this method has better performance and effect in clutter suppression.Finally,due to the recording method of the GPR,the target signal exhibits hyperbolic shape.However,the target signal after clutter suppression still cannot eliminate the hyperbolic effect.Therefore,an underground target migration imaging method based on GoDec is proposed.This method first uses GoDec to suppress clutter,and then uses Stolt migration technology to focus on the target signal to make the reflected wave return to original location,the diffracted wave converges,combined with the minimum entropy technology to estimate the appropriate migration speed,and finally get best migration imaging results.Simulation experiments verify the effectiveness of the proposed method,which greatly improves the resolution of GPR image and positioning accuracy.
