With the increasing importance of the Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS),countries are rapidly developing their own satellite navigation systems. In the future, users will face a situation in which there are nearly 100 navigation satellites coexisting and compatible with the four global satellite navigation systems, which makes the receiving part have sufficient satellite systems to choose from,multi-system multi-frequency GNSS The receiver will become the mainstream development trend.System on chip(SOC)design not only takes into account the characteristics of low power consumption and fast operation speed, but also has the characteristics of being expandable and re-modifiable.Aiming at the development trend of this kind of navigation receiver, after deeply studying the knowledge of the receiver's RF and baseband signal processing,a design scheme of GPS/BDS dual-mode receiver is given, and this scheme is completed and implemented. In this paper, based on the theoretical research of GNSS positioning principle, characteristics of GPS and BDS satellite signals,multi-mode receiver, etc.,the demand analysis of the GPS/BDS dual-mode receiver hardware system is carried out,and the GPS/BDS dual-mode receiver is given. The overall design of the receiver, the RF front-end circuit was made and the working configuration of the dual-mode receiver was completed. The hardware design of the correlator FPGA in the baseband signal processing part of the dual-mode receiver and the acquisition, tracking, and positioning based on the MicroBlaze soft core were completed.Solving software design. In this paper, the RF module, local carrier and pseudo code generation module of the dual-mode receiver are simulated and verified. The satellite signal acquisition and tracking functions and the receiver's positioning solution function are physically verified. The test results show that the GPS/BDS dual-mode receiver has good performance and can be used as a design verification platform for the dual-mode receiver baseband signal processing algorithm.
