The emergence of soft robots has brought a new direction to the field of robot research.With the development of science and technology,because of its simple structure,high security,good flexibility and other characteristics,soft robots attract extensive attention from all walks of life,with more and more types and more powerful functions.Educational robot is a product that integrates a variety of subjects such as machinery,computer,electronics,etc.In the future,it will not only have broad prospects for robot teaching in colleges,but also be used for children's intellectual development and early education tools.This research designs a soft actuator from a bionics perspective and develops a series of soft educational robot products.First,inspired by the phenomenon of frog predation,a frog tongue soft actuator was designed.When the frog uses the stored elastic potential energy,it sends out sticky tongues to unsuspecting insects and grasps them in tenths of a second.By pneumatically driving the actuator to make rapid stretching and rolling movements,it can complete the adhesion and grasp action,which can achieve almost the same effect as the real frog tongue predation movement.Second,the change of actuator motion energy is analyzed briefly.The main performance is that the actuator uses the stored elastic potential energy to make the prestress.In order to verify the performance of the actuator,an experimental platform was built.Based on the tensile test and the analysis of the metal wire material,the feasibility of selecting the main structure material is discussed.Third,this actuator is used to design and produce a graspable educational robot,a frog-like educational robot and a four-legged mobile educational robot.Graspable educational robots can analyze the experiments of sticking and picking up objects.Frog-like educational robots are divided into frog-like jumping educational robots and frog-like swimming robots.Their movements are analyzed.Last,the research designs a fun and educational approach.Through the operation of frog jumping educational robot and existing products in the market to complete the specified game.We obtain and compare the operator's evaluation data samples and game operation data samples for the two educational robots.This research hopes to design soft robots and develop better educational robot products from the perspective of bionics.
