Infrared imaging system has been applied to more and more fields.Infrared Focal Plane Array detector is most important component.Infrared Focal Plane Array has classical character that different image cells correspondent different detector elements.This is non-uniformit.It influences the quality of imaging seriously.So,it is very important to do non-uniformity correction.First of all,this paper introduced infrared imaging system,and gives a brief Introduction of its composition.After that,this paper presented the non-uniformit,and introduced the development history of the non-uniformity correction.Then,this paper analyzed the mechanism of the non-uniformit,introduced the definition of the non-uniformit,and presented some determining functions to check out the quality of non-uniformity correction.After that,introduced some classical algorithms of calibration-based methods and scene-based methods.Though this introduction,we can tell the superiority of scene-based methods.Contrasted the results that different algorithms applied in different scene,we can tell the characteristics of this classical algorithms.According to their respective characteristics,the applicability of them is analyzed.The scene-based methods is often accompanied by the"ghost" phenomenon.The generation of ghost-artifact and some de-ghost algorithms were analyzed.Finally,the nonuniformity correction algorithm based on inter frame alignment is introduced and analyzed.On the basis of this algorithm,the ergodic block algorithm is improved.
