With the advancement of weapons and equipment informationization and the development of electronic technology,the electromagnetic environment of the battlefield is becoming more and more complex.The number of radar systems and communication systems is increasing,At the same time,the electromagnetic spectrum and the radiation power is also increasing.The wider the field,the electronic reconnaissance equipment on the battlefield faces an increasingly complex electromagnetic environment,which puts higher demands on the performance of electronic reconnaissance equipment.Therefore,simulating the realistic and complex radar signal electromagnetic environment,testing the stability and functional perfection of the electronic reconnaissance system is an important research topic in the electronic warfare system.This paper starts from providing a complex signal test environment for the electronic reconnaissance equipment,deeply studies the direct digital frequency synthesis technology,combines the system software and hardware design,realizes the output of complex signals,and completes the design and implementation of the IF and RF radar signal simulation source.The core of the IF and RF radar signal simulation source system is the direct digital frequency synthesis technology.In the engineering implementation,in order to meet the quality and bandwidth of the signal output,combined with hardware resources,it can be improved into a multi-phase digital frequency synthesis technology,in this way,a high-speed output serial data stream is obtained by parallel-to-serial conversion of the parallel computing data result at low working clock frequency,which breaks the clock limit of the processor.In order to solve the contradiction between hardware storage resources and signal output quality,a basis is proposed.The data compression scheme of data granularity and function graph symmetry,through the analysis of the characteristic of the trigonometric function and the approximate calculation of the function value,the data is divided into large granularity and small granularity data,which can achieve compression of 97:1.For the calculation of the amplitude,the amplitude is calculated roughly by using the large granularity data,and the small granularity data is finely adjusted to ensure the high-quality output of the signal while saving the occupation of the memory resources.For implementing the master computer and the hardware device through Gigabit Ethernet for fast data transmission,proposes a data transmission method based on UDP protocol.The transmission method can stably transfer data between the computer and the DSP,and compared with the USB and other traditional data transmission methods,this method can increase the data transmission rate by nearly double,which has great significance in engineering applications.The hardware platform of the IF and RF radar signal simulation source system makes full feasibility study on its function,performance and interface form when designing the system.The modular design ensures the stability,expandability and versatility of the equipment.This system can realize four channels of simulation to generate radar signals on a single simulator.Each channel can work independently and can be generated according to different needs,and the radar parameters are set according to the existing radar settings to ensure that the radiation has practical physical significance.Different types of radiation sources provide stable intermediate frequency signals or radio frequency signals as needed to provide a stable complex radar signal electromagnetic environment for testing electronic reconnaissance equipment.
