Ship navigation radar has the advantages of long detection distance,small influence by day and night weather and other natural factors,and can be used all-weather.At present,radar is irreplaceable in ship collision avoidance.Radar simulator is widely used in radar practical training because of its flexibility and repeatability.Among them,the simulation of radar environment is essential,sea clutter research is an important part of environmental research.The existing Marine radar simulator simulates sea clutter mostly by using approximate mathematical distribution function and independent point rendering method,which cannot reflect the temporal and spatial correlation of sea clutter.There is a big gap between the sea clutter simulated by this method and the radar sea clutter image in the actual situation.In order to solve this problem,the real-time simulation of sea clutter is realized in this paper by combining wave real-time generation algorithm,radar imaging algorithm,computer graphics technology,GPU acceleration and other technologies.The main research work of this paper is as follows:(1)3D wave modeling technology is used to generate an appropriate 3d wave surface.The wave modeling method based on the bilinear superposition method is used to build a three-dimensional wave surface with a fairly realistic sense,and the abstract three-dimensional elevation data is visualized into a three-dimensional image by Matlab.(2)Rendering of Marine radar sea clutter.By using the 3D rendering engine(OSG)and computer graphics technology,the geometric optical model of radar imaging,the radar imaging algorithm and its dynamic texture updating technology are used to realize the dynamic simulation of sea clutter reality of Marine radar.(3)Real-time realization of Marine radar sea clutter.By analyzing the program,the time complexity of the shadow modulation algorithm was improved,and the maximum memory algorithm was proposed to speed up the CPU operation.The wave generation algorithm is accelerated by CUDA parallel computation,and the GPU of scanning line data computation is realized.Finally,real-time simulation of Marine radar clutter simulation is realized.In this paper,the wave modeling method based on wave spectrum is selected to simulate the 3D wave surface with a fairly realistic sense.According to the geometrical optical model ed from the principle of radar imaging,combined with the radar imaging algorithm,the maximum memory algorithm and the GPU acceleration technology,the real-time simulation of the sea clutter of the nautical radar is realized.
