Aiming at the problem of performance degradation of active phased array antenna?APAA?when it is in harsh service environment,this paper carried out an in-depth study on how to improve antenna performance by using mechanical and structural compensation.And on the basis of structural compensation,a new hybrid compensation method was proposed.The author's major contribution on these subjects can be summarized as follows:1.Analysis of the service-load.The main service-loads of the typical active phased array antennas are analyzed,such as the shipboard APAA.A formula for calculating the far field pattern of the antenna under the effect of load is established,in order to describe the variation of the antenna electrical performance under load.If the action of service-load can be equivalent to the action of force on the antenna,the formula can quickly calculate the far field pattern of the antenna under the influence of load.And when the deformation of the array is known,the shape of the array can be adjusted by the actuator,in order to improve indirectly the electrical performance of antenna.2.Sensor layout based on array deformation perception.On the issues that how to use less sensors to monitor the deformation of the antenna without loss of accuracy,a method of sensor layout considering the partition of correlation regions is proposed.In order to ensure the independence of the sensor,the correlation degree of modal vectors between any two measured points is calculated,and the correlation matrix is obtained.On the basis,the maximum bond energy of correlation matrix is used to realize the division of surface correlation region.On this basis,a sensor position optimization model with minimum reconstruction error is established.The layout method considers the correlation of the modal vectors of the measured points,ensuring the“good”behavior of the matrix ?m×k,and ensuring the accurate solution of the transformation matrix T in the reconstruction formula,and then ensuring the reconstruction accuracy,at same time,reducing greatly the number of sensors.Especially in the aspect of sensor layout of the surface antenna,the computational complexity and reconstruction accuracy of this method are obviously improved,compared with the method without considering the partition of the correlation region.3.The control method of array antenna shape and performance based on actuator.On the basis of the array deformation is known,in order to ensure the timeliness of improving the array precision under the action of the actuator.In the calculation of actuator compensation,the expression of the actuator output force is given through analytical to ensure the best accuracy of array,and improve computational efficiency.Secondly,a position layout model of the actuator aiming at the best accuracy of array and the least energy consumption of actuator is established.The actuator layout method can not only improve the precision of array after compensation,but also reduce the output energy?output force?of the actuator.4.A hybrid compensation method for shape and performance.In order to compensate the electrical performance of antenna under dynamic deformation,a hybrid compensation method is proposed to adjust the dynamic deformation of array on the basis of the structure compensation.Firstly,a prediction model is established considering error calculation,in order to eliminate the influence of structure compensation on electric compensation in hybrid compensation method.Secondly,LQG controller is designed to control dynamic deformation of array,and the electric compensation model is established.The simulation results indicate that,the shape of prediction is basically consistent with the actual shape,without considering the error.And the hybrid compensation method improves the accuracy of array,and reduces the compensation pressure of electric compensation by controlling the dynamic deformation of array,making the far field pattern after compensating basically coincide with the ideal pattern,providing some references to solve the problem of the performance decline of antenna caused by vibration that.
