Switched systems are a class of typical hybrid systems, which have become the research hotpot of the area of control because of its wide practical applications. There have been many research results about switched systems, however, there also exist some problems need to be explored and solved in the actual application scene of switched systems. For examples, the modes of the system and the controller are not matched due to data sampling, how to reduce the waste of bandwidth resources in network transmission effectively and so on.According to above mentioned problems, this paper studies the networked synchronization of switched systems based on sampled-data well as its application in image encryption. The main contents are summarized as follows:1.The problem of networked synchronization of nonlinear switched systems based on quantized and sampled data is studied. The output signal of the system is sampled and quantized. At the same time, the asynchronization of system mode and controller mode is considered.A new synchronization error system is constructed by input delay method.Next, the exponential stability of the error system is analyzed using multi-Lyapunov functional method and the stability condition based on average dwell time is proposed. Then,a method to design the controller is proposed. Finally, the efficiency of the proposed synchronization scheme is illustrated by two examples.2.The problem of networked synchronization of nonlinear switched systems based on event-triggered mechanism is studied. The event-triggered mechanism is introduced in the synchronization of switched systems since it can reduce the waste of unnecessary channel resources and improve the transmission efficiency of the networked control system. The system will only transmit the sampled-data that satisfies the event trigger condition.Firstly, the synchronization error system is obtained and a suitable Lyapunov functional is constructed. Then,a sufficient condition of the exponential stability of the synchronization error system and a synchronization controller design method are proposed respectively. Finally, the efficiency of the proposed synchronization scheme based on event-triggered mechanism is shown by one example.3.The problem of image encryption based on synchronization of switched chaotic systems is studied. The synchronization of switched chaotic systems is realized using the proposed event-triggered synchronization scheme for switched systems consist of two chaotic subsystems. Then, the sequences of the master system and the slave system are selected as encryption key and decryption key in encryption and decryption of color image respectively. Finally, the reliability of chaotic image encryption scheme is shown by a set of security analysis.
