With the development of satellite communication technology,satellite communication frequency resources are increasingly scarce.Multi-beam satellite technology has the advantages of beam space isolation and frequency reuse,which can effectively solve the problem of limited frequency resources.At the same time,due to the complexity of the multi beam satellite transponder system,it brings difficulties to the satellite ground test.Therefore,it is necessary to develop specific testing equipment to meet the testing requirements of key indicators of multi-beam array transponder system.Firstly,this thesis summarizes the main background of the research and development of microwave switch matrix for satellite ground test,discusses the relevant research situation at home and abroad,and defines the main content of this topic.In this thesis,the basic theory of microwave switching technology is analyzed,and the development process of extended microwave switching matrix system is given.The test system of multi-beam communication satellite transponder and the extended switch matrix are designed,and the application of multi-channel vector network test and the automatic test software are studied.The structure of switching matrix system is introduced by focusing on the design of electromechanical structure,controller,software,electromagnetic compatibility and other functions.The verification process and results of thermal vacuum experiment of small tank are discussed and studied,and the abnormal problems in the process of system development are analyzed.The last part is conclusion and prospect.Through the research of this thesis,the design and test verification of the extended switch matrix are completed,which provides the technical support for the satellite ground test work.This thesis studies,designs and tests the microwave switching matrix of satellite ground test,which ensures that the switching matrix system can complete the electrical performance test task of multi-channel satellite transponder.The design of the ground test system has strong practicability and can be widely used.It can effectively guarantee the development of similar multi-channel transponders in China.
