Since the light is affected by the absorption and scattering of water in the underwater environment,the images obtained in the underwater environment usually have color distortion,low contrast and other serious degradation,while the color and contrast of the underwater image are visually displayed in the ocean.Surveys are very important.For example,enhanced underwater images can improve automatic segmentation,improve the accuracy of feature matching between images taken from multiple angles,and assist submarine navigation.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to have a considerable color recovery and sharpness enhancement for underwater images.This paper mainly studies the color correction of underwater images and the deblurring of underwater images.The specific research contents are as follows:Aiming at the traditional white balance is not suitable for the correction of underwater image color,a color correction method based on color compensation is proposed.We first determine the root cause of the color distortion of underwater images.The water body has different absorption abilities for different wavelengths of light,and the longer the wavelength of the light is,the stronger the attenuation is when it propagates in the water,because the red light is most attenuated in the water.Strong,and the attenuation of blue-green light in the water is relatively weak.We use the green channel with relatively weak attenuation and attenuation close to the red channel to compensate the red channel,and then obtain the final color correction through the gray world white balance and the automatic color gradation.By comparing subjective effects with a variety of methods,the results demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach.The underwater image enhancement algorithm is compared with many other underwater image enhancement algorithms in recent years.The superiority of the algorithm is demonstrated by subjective and objective angles.The results show that our algorithm effectively solves the underwater image color Distortion and blurring.
