In real life,human eyes can perceive the brightness ranging from faint starlight to dazzling sunlight,which can be 10-4108cd/m2,almost twelve orders of magnitude.In addition to the direct access to environment information,the human eye can also perceive the world by means of image and video.However,in contrasting scenes like fierce dark and bright things,image and video can not obtain accurate details of shade junction,thus affects the judgment for the entire video.In order to show video of high dynamic range in display system of low dynamic range,the researchers designed the image mapping algorithm,which effectively solve this problem.But this algorithm does not solve the problem of video image reproduction of the real environment at all.Therefore,the research of high dynamic range image and video display system become the focus of research,but existing display equipment is so expensive that has not been widely used in the consumer market.So display device which can solve the above problem and are of low cost is so disired.In this paper,the common image compression algorithms,spectral reconstruction technology,and the high dynamic range image reproduction technology of bright light-emitting diode architecture design are studied,which paves the way for the design of high dynamic range display system;The TFT-LCD and backlight module are analyzed in detail,which lays the foundation for the design of backlight system of high dynamic range display system.In this paper,a high dynamic range video display system with LCD-LED architecture is designed based on digital signal processing using LED array as backlight.Firstly,the geometrical optics theory,which demonstrates the LED layout,light mixing depth and high brightness dynamic video display system are introduced and the relationship between the brightness uniformity are proved,which indicates the most ideal layout is equilateral triangle layout light mixing depth in the same circumstances;Following schematic and PCB of backlight module is designed in aid of Altium Designer 13,simulation and experiment is realized in Quartus II;Finally,a LED method based on the compensation of crystal healing was presented.By adjusting the pixel region of the liquid crystal compensation factor,the LCD control signal was adjusted,and the opening rate of promotion by liquid crystal light transmittance was enhanced.So the dead area was repaired.The experimental results show that this method can effectively solve the problems of high cost,difficult to implement and difficult to operate in the direct replacement of LED...
