With development of wireless technology, the topic of Wireless Sensor Network(WSN)has been widely discussed these years. In many WSN applications,as static physical environment monitoring or dynamic track monitoring, sensor node distribution structure will directly affect the stability and efficiency of the application of WSN.Similarly,in the field of computer graphics, sampling in the form of discrete samples is one of the most important processes. The sample distribution will have an important impact on rendering, meshing and other graphics applications. So this paper proposes the strategy of applying sampling method to WSN node distribution work. The practicability of this strategy is studied combined with specific scenarios, analysising the advantages of sampling method through experiment results.Inspired by anti-aliasing theory in sampling field,we present a Poisson-disk Sampling(PDS)based strategy for WSN node placement. With the theory of sampling,we study the spectral properties of node distribution,in order to reduce the deviation of data collection result. To show the advantage of PDS,this paper designs two experiments,”path tracking” and ”multi hop” communication.Simulation results show that PDS outperforms other placement methods, such as regular and random strategies,in terms of monitoring surrounding environment and communication cost.In addition,we apply the PDS-based strategy to various WSN applications and design a simple energysaving pattern with coverage and connectivity preserved.
