Museum as the holders of human civilization and related information and knowledge, through the organization of various exhibitions to complete its important mission of collection display and dissemination of culture. In order to maximize the historical and cultural value of the cultural relics, applying mixed reality technology to the exhibition guide design of the museum will bring a new experience to the audience. The research work of this paper is as follows:First of all, starting from the construction of digital museum, this paper analyzes the current problems existing in museum exhibition and the purpose and significance of digital museum construction, and proposes the construction of digital cultural relic exhibition hall based on mixed reality technology. Then, starting from the Hololens equipment to study the main characteristics of this device and application development methodology;according to the use scenario to analysis the functional requirements of the application in detail, and based on the that to design the overall architecture and logical structure of the system.Based on the Unity3 D development platform, the implementation of various functional modules of the mixed reality museum is studied. Finally, the functional modules are based on digital museum Hololens applications, the overall performance of the system,as well as real-time system has been fully tested to verify its interactive format scanning space, cultural information visualization functions to achieve results. The experimental results show that the system can not only integrate the virtual cultural relics information into the real environment, but also give full play to the characteristics of Hololens devices to provide visitors with a realistic interactive experience, and has good real-time and stability.
