Ground moving target indication(GMTI)is a significant topic in Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR),because of its broad applications,at the same time,it's a very challenging topic. Therefore,GMTI is always a very hot topic for recent years.Commonly,we have two study methods in SAR-GMTI: the single-channel SAR-GMTI and the multi-channel SAR-GMTI.In this paper,we focus on multi-channel SAR-GMTI.Firstly,we introduce the background and related concepts of SAR-GMTI,the current development and content of domestic and foreign research and the structure of this paper. Then, some key techniques and algorithms have been introduced, including synthetic aperture, linear frequency modulation signal, pulse compression, range Doppler algorithm and so on.In the following content, the thesis elaborates the signal expression of static and moving targets of different channels when the squint angle is not so big. After formula derivation and analysis,we can get the difference of placement and phase between two channels for static and moving targets separately, which provides solid theoretical principle for our method. The next chapter is the most important part in the paper.Based on the traditional ATI algorithm,I make some improvements to optimize the performance in multichannel SAR moving targets indication. The steps of traditional ATI are location registration, phase compensation, interference and detection. In this paper,I focus on improving the method of registration and compensation to realize the sub-pixel auto matching, which improves the detection accuracy greatly. At the same time,we add the step of smooth before detection to eliminate the remaining strong static clutters. Some real data is used to prove the effectiveness of the method.Lastly, the paper proposes some key index to evaluate the moving target indication method, like the detection rate, the minimum detectable velocity and so on.In this chapter,I elaborate how to calculate these index in improved ATI method. At the same time,I compare the performance of traditional ATI and improved ATI to emphasize the good performance of ATI.
