With the development of society and the increasing number of buildings with complex indoor structures,the past decades witness an even-increasing demand for indoor location based service,and researches on indoor localization and navigation become more popular.However,most of the existing localization algorithms require the deployment of special hardware facilities in the indoor environment,which leads to the disadvantages of high positioning cost,limited coverage and poor environmental adaptability.On the other hand,the fingerprint-based positioning algorithm relies on the fingerprint database that need to be constructed in advance and updated frequently to adapt the change of indoor layout,which is time-consuming and labor-intensive.Problems mentioned above have hindered the popularity of indoor positioning navigation applications.Facing with these challenges,we propose a low-cost and highly adaptable indoor tracing navigation system in this thesis.The proposed system helps two users to find each other inside a building via presenting their trajectories and prompting navigation tips of relative direction and proximity change information.Specifically,the proposed system adopts the Client/Server system architecture,with the Android smartphone app as the client for data collection and function display,and the Java Web application as the data processing server for data exchange between the front and the back through network communication.By exploiting the Wi-Fi data,sensor data and GPS information from users' smartphones the system is able to provide specific functions including direction indicating,trajectory sharing and navigation prompting.We test our system and validate its effectiveness inside a huge building in our school.
