Stereoscopic display technology is used widely in teaching,military,medical,advertising and many other fields,it is the key technology of virtual reality(VR).It imitates the human eye stereoscopic vision to record and display the objects in the space in a three-dimensional way.Psychological hint and binocular physiological perception are two ways to produce stereo depth: The traditional two-dimensional image display can be felt in the spatial depth through people's psychological hints.However,naked eye stereoscopic display is a physiological 3D display,which can reproduce the depth information of the scene more realistically than the traditional plane display and enable the human to have an immersive physiological and visual experience.Naked eye 3D technology refers to that the audience does not need to wear any auxiliary equipment(glasses or helmet,etc.)to observe 3D images with the naked eye.They can feel the depth information of each object point in the space and in the visual area of the brain and obtain highly authentic visual experience.The principle of binocular parallax is the most important foundation of 3D display technology.The stereo depth of image is an important parameter of display technology.The paper analyzes the effect of binocular parallax on binocular depth perception,and some related parameters that affect the depth of stereo image in panum fusion area are calculated and analyzed,such as binocular parallax distance,visual distance and pupil distance and so on.Based on these quantifiable parameters and the stereo depth required for image display,the theoretical value of the distance between the optical axis parallel binocular cameras is calculated.The rhino modeling software was used to carry out the simulation test,which verified the feasibility of the theoretical value of camera separation distance.This theoretical analysis provides data reference for determining the camera spacing when taking pictures.The features of the object in the captured image are moderately enhanced and restored with MATLAB software to improve the display effect of the image.Enhancethe whole or local features of the image,make the original fuzzy image clear or the dark image bright,enhance or weaken the contour information of the target object in the image,and highlight the differences of different object features in the image,so as to improve the image quality and enhance the image recognition effect and visual experience.
