Today,with the increasingly development of information technology,the Internet has become an indispensable part of people's work and learning.However,while the network brings great convenience to people,the vast amount of information resources shared by users can not be fully guaranteed security.In recent years,with the widespread use of identity authentication technology based on biometrics such as fingerprint,palmprint and face,the security of this technology has become the focus of information security domain.Traditional authentication technology based on biometrics extracts the user's biometric information and stores the generated template in the database.However,a large number of information leakage incidents show that,as network attacks technology continuously updated,the security threats faced by databases are becoming more and more serious.And a large amount of user's original biometric information stored in the database is also exposed to the possibility of disclosure,thus threatening the privacy of users.Given the accuracy and uniqueness of biometrics,once disclosed,the user's personal privacy will pose a serious threat.Therefore,it is particularly important to protect the biometric template.In this paper,based on the research and analysis of the cancelable fingerprint template protection technology,a fingerprint template protection method based on minutiae projection and a fingerprint template protection method based on local minutiae three-dimensional mapping are proposed.The main work of the paper is as follows:1.In order to enhance the revocation and irreversibility performance of the fingerprint template protection methods,a fingerprint template protection method is proposed based on minutiae projection.Firstly,we extract fingerprint minutiae feature after preprocessing the fingerprint image,and select the effective minutiae within the range of the sampling radius.Next,we project the minutiae into a line,and map the projected vectors onto a two-dimensional grid to generate a fixed length one-dimensional bit-string.Finally,the cancelable fingerprint template is generated by combining the user PIN code.The experiment results show that this method not only improves the stability of the template authentication,but also satisfies revocation and non-invertibility,and ensures the security of the algorithm.2.Aiming at the problem that fingerprint template protection methods have poor security and recognition performance,a fingerprint template protection method is proposed based on the three-dimensional mapping of local minutiae.First,we extract fingerprint minutiae features after preprocessing the fingerprint image and select the minutiae using parameter adaptive circular areas.Second,we project the minutiae into a line.Subsequently,quantization,mapping,and modulo operation are performed on the projected vectors to generate a fixed-length binary bit string.Finally,a fingerprint templateis generated by combining the user's PIN code with a binary bit string.The experiment results show that this template has advantages over the traditional ones in terms of recognition,revocation,non-invertibility,and performance.
