The Impact Of Control-oriented Mobile Technology Affordance On Compliance Intention In Team Management Control

In recent years,mobile information technology and mobile terminal technology have achieved breakthrough development.In such an environment,mobile technology is deeply embedded in work and life scenarios,and the functions of mobile technologies used in work scenes are becoming more powerful.The mobile office model supported by mobile technology has become a major trend.The existing mobile technology office tools can realize the mobility,immediacy,workflow visualization,and work scene scenario,and also broken the boundaries of the roles of employees' work and life.These changes are driving the transformation of organizational management and the flattening of organizational structure.The management and control activities of the organization will inevitably change.In a turbulent environment,traditional management control methods are no longer applicable.Organizational control activities need to achieve effective control on the premise of maintaining flexibility,and the purpose of control is more diversified,such as compliance,innovation,risk avoidance,etc.There are few studies on the impact of mobile technology on organizational management control activities in the work scenario,especially when mobile technology is used for organizational management control activities.The intrinsic influence mechanism of mobile technology on the execution of control activities needs further discussion.Therefore,from the perspective of availability and control,this paper selects the enterprise work team as the research object and the team as the analysis level.to explore the affordance of mobile technology for the purpose of organizational control-contextualization,control execution results(Communicational congruence and Evaluational congruence),Compliance intention.A theoretical model with contextualization as the independent variable,communicational congruence and evaluational congruence as the mediator,and task interdependence as the dependent variable is constructed,and five theoretical hypotheses are proposed.This paper has certain theoretical and practical significance.Based on the affordance of mobile technology for management control,this paper proposes the affordance of mobile technology—contextulization,enriching the affordance of mobile technology based on different research scenarios,and developing the IS control theory framework and related variables,breaking through the research limitations of using performance as a control result.In reality,it provides guidance for companies,managers,and employees to better use mobile technology at work and how technology developers can develop more suitable mobile office software.First of all,this paper reviews the literature on mobile technology,affordance theory,control theory,contextulization,compliance intention,task interdependence,and team virtuality,and sorts out the relevant theoretical basis.Secondly,based on relevant theories and literature review,theoretical analysis and variable development were carried out.Then,through the sample survey,valid sample data of 79 teams(359 people)were obtained,,and descriptive statistical analysis,reliability and validity analysis methods,correlation analysis,data aggregation test,and hierarchical regression analysis were used to empirically test the model.The results of this paper show that the control-oriented mobile technology affordance-contextulization positively influences the compliance intention.The communicational congruence plays a full intermediary role in the relationship between the two,and the evaluational congruence plays a part in the relationship between the two.Intermediary role,task dependence plays a positive role in the relationship between contextualization and communicational congruence,and the adjustment effect in the relationship between contextualization and evaluational congruence is not significant.
